Qualified applicants must successfully complete one skills testing. This position works under the general supervision of the Pool Manager. Duties also involve: teaching courses in Lifeguard training and water safety, training volunteers, maintaining records, preparing reports, directing the cleaning and maintenance of pool facilities, implementing special events, and ensuring proper customer service. Other duties include replenishing supplies, directing training activities, checking pool chemicals, monitoring staff performance, and taking corrective action as needed. You will determine staffing levels, prepare schedules, assign personnel to duty stations, observe pool attendance, and add or shift Lifeguards to ensure proper coverage. Applicants from this recruitment may also be considered for year round positions.Īs Assistant Pool Manager, you will assist the Pool Manager in the operation of a municipal swimming pool and associated aquatics programs. The Season runs from April 2023 through August 2023. The City of Mesa is currently recruiting Assistant Pool Managers to work full-time during the Summer Season.
